What is Wall Putty ?
- Putty consist of White Cement, polymers, speciality chemicals and minerals.
- Putty binds strongly with the Base Surface, even if the surface is damp and forms a protective base for your expensive paints.
- Qualities of Putty :-
1) Fine Putty
2) Coarse Putty.
General Information about Wall Putty :
- Water Requirement : 40 - 45% by weight.
- Pot life = 1 Hour.
- Surface condition : - Moderately Rough and Just-Wet.
- Method of application :- Use blade on the wall with a ''bottom to top''.
- Second coat shall be applied horizontally, to even out application marks of first coat which was vertical.
- Remix putty paste for 1 minute, if it is left undisturbed for 30 minutes.
- Add GUJRAT PAINTS wall putty to water and not water in putty.
- Curing is not required. But sprinkling of water for 2 days will enhance the hydration of Cement particles which will give better results.

- Used directly over Brick work, Blocks, Precast Wall & Concrete.
- Its water repelling properties prevents flaking of your expensive paints.
- It becomes an integral part of the plaster due to White Cement. Gives better compatibility, adhesive strength and a long-life to Wall Putty.
What is the covering capacity ?

How PUTTY is better than P.O.P. ?
POP is extremely hygroscopic and is susceptible to the ingress of moisture, which damages the surface But Putty is a white cement & polymer based product with the property of very less water absorption and excellent water resistance. That's why A coat of prime is not required before final paint over Putty.
Reason of Peeling (Bubbles on wall) from base surface ?
- If applicator exceeds the specified limit of thickness. ( Max. thickness given at end)
- When second coat is applied over freshly (poorly set) applied first coat.
- Cement paint or other paint which is water repellent results in reduced adhesion.
Drawback of Putty ?
It cannot provide 90 degree angle between 2 walls, as total thickness of putty (coarse + fine)
goes upto (10 + 2.5)= 12.5mm (max.)
